Neo Queen Serenity

Here's an artpiece that I've made of Usagi/Serena Tsukino as Neo Queen Serenity, the new generation of her beautiful mother, Queen Serenity! This would actually appear to be my second attempt to drawing characters from "Sailor Moon" in their royality (princess/queen/etc.) forms, after drawing Princess Chibiusa back in February of 2011 ([link]), and I'm really happy with how I've done Neo Queen Serenity here, and maybe I could consider doing Princess Serenity, and/or Queen Serenity sometime.

This was very fun to draw, but somehow pretty challenging... the pose was possibly the hardest part of the whole project, especially while drawing the arms/hands & trying to capture it good enough as possible, but still, I'm very happy with the whole outcome of this artpiece, nonetheless. And, considering that this was actually my very first attempt at drawing poses like this one, I don't really think that I did a bad job for my first time (in my own opinion), but I could always keep working hard enough to get better at it.

The lineart for this artpiece was first started on in May 2011, and completed & submitted in June 2011. ^_^

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I hope that you'll like this, everybody!

Drawn on 11x8 1/2 sketchpad, with a No. 2 pencil (and in my own traditional art style), fixed, cleaned-up, colored & shaded by using Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edtion 3.0., and finalized on MS Paint (for thin boarder, and artists' signature).
