Miracle Sailor Sun

This is my (now belated) birthday gift to one of my long-time deviantART friends, (whose birthday took place on February 10th)... as my gift to her for this year, I have decided to design a "Miracle" senshi fuku/form for her beautiful interpretation of Sailor Sun, completely adorned with angel wings, white fabrics with faded maroon touches & shadings, ruby red & golden trims, gold ribbons, golden pearls, magenta stone studded brooch & pendants, and faded ruby red & gold skirt ruffles & transparent sleeves, all made just for her by myself. This is also the second piece of my "Miracle Sailor Senshi" fan-art series to feature a fan-made character.

I'm really happy with how this turned out, especially with the color scheme that I have used for her fuku, as well as the way I drew her pose & expression, even though drawing the pose was probably the challenging part, but despite that, I am still very impressed with the finished result nonetheless, and to me, it was definitely worth all of the time taken to work on.

The lineart for this artpiece was started on in February 2013, and completed & submitted in March 2013, just in time for Easter.

Drawn on 11x8 1/2 sketchpad, with a No. 2 pencil (and in my own traditional art style), fixed, cleaned-up, colored & shaded by using Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edtion 3.0., and finalized on MS Paint (for thin boarder, and artists' signature).
