Pretty Cure 5: Cure Dream

Here's a "one-of-a-kind" picture I drew of Nozomi Yumehara as Cure Dream, from the fourth & fifth series of an underrated "Magicial Girl" anime series called "Yes! Pretty Cure 5", in the outfit that she wears in the "Yes! Pretty Cure 5" sequel series titled "Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!".

I haven't watch any episodes from this series just yet, but I'm going to have a look at it sometime, since it looks really cute and fun, and I've actually been semi-inspired by two friends of mine who've made "Pretty Cure" fanart of their own before (such as *YuniNaoki and ~DBCDude01), as well as encouraged by a great friend of mine, *mimineko828 back when she left a comment on my "Princess Tutu" deviation, kindly mentioning it to me.

Yet again, along with "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch", "Tokyo Mew Mew", "Cardcaptor Sakura", "Princess Tutu" and Chii from "Chobits", this is another new attempt to drawing characters from other animes, rather than just sticking with "Sailor Moon" all the time. However, if this artpiece goes well enough, I may consider on drawing the four other (main) team members of "Yes! Pretty Cure 5 (GoGo)!" (Cure Lemonade, Cure Rouge, Cure Mint, and Cure Aqua) then maybe start a "Pretty Cure" fanart series. Considering that this was my very first time making a "Pretty Cure" artpiece, I don't really think that I did a bad job (even if some parts don't appear to have been drawn and/or captured correctly), but I could always work hard enough to get better at it, and I also think that it was truly worth the effort to try it out.

Drawn on 11x8 1/2 sketchpad, with a No. 2 pencil (and in my own traditional art style), fixed, cleaned-up, colored & shaded by using Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edtion 3.0., and finalized on MS Paint (for thin boarder, and artists' signature). The background was made on Adobe Photoshop CS3, and added on by using Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edtion 3.0.
